Around 15 Migrant Workers Lost Their Lives In Two Separate Incidence In UP And MP

According to reports coming in two separate incidence have occurred in which migrant workers have passed away.

First such incidence has been reported from an accident from Uttar Pradesh Muzaffarnagar District.  The accident happened at around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday morning when migrant workers who were returning from Punjab were run over by State roadways bus.  In this 6 migrant workers have lost their lives.  Accident occurred in Meerut on Muzaffar Nagar and Saharanpur state highway.  The migrant workers who lost their life were all resident of Bihar.

Second accident had occurred Guna district in Madhya Pradesh where a truck collided with state highway bus killing 8 migrant workers and injuring 50 others.  As soon as the administration and police learned about the incidence to the site and admitted the injured to the hospital.

In incident all the migrant workers which is passed away in Madhya Pradesh were from Uttar Pradesh and returning from Mumbai.

Since the lockdown because of covid-19 pandemic migrant workers who are working in other states from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh have been returning to their native places because of acute shortage of food and money along with their families.
