Civil Aviation Ministry Plans To Restart Operations Of Domestic Flight By May 25, 2020

A major press release coming in from Civil Aviation Ministry.

According to a statement Civil Aviation has been considering to start domestic flights from May 25th 2020.  The Civil Aviation restart in a calibrated manner from the specified date that is May 25th 2020.

According to the press release all airports and operators have been informed to resume the flight operations and domestic in India by May 25th 2020.

SOPs for messenger movements have also been issued and guidelines have been given to all the operators and airports to resume their operations.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
