HRD Postpones Exams Pending Announcement For 10th And 12th Students

The HRD Minister had earlier announced to notify the schedule at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.  But now postponed the announcement to Monday for exam pending of 10th and 12th board exam stating technical aspect before finalising the date sheet.

CBSE is taking technical aspects before finalising date sheet of board exams of 10th and 12 due to which now it will be announced on on Monday that is 18-5-2020. 

The ministry last week announced that the pending 10th and 12th CBSE board which were postponed due to covid-19 lockdown would be conducted from July 1 to 15. 

Class 12th exams will be conducted across the country, class 10th exam appending in North East Delhi only where they were affected due to the law and order situation. 

The board had last month announced that exams pending in 29 subjects which are crucial for promotion and admission to higher educational institution will only be conducted.

The modalities of assessment for the subject for which exams are not been conducted will be announced soon by the boardthe schedule has been decided that the board exam should be completed before competitive exams such as JEE mains which are scheduled from July 18 to 23 NEET which is scheduled on 26 July. 

The university grant commission had issued guidelines to universities that new academic session for freshers will welcome men's from September while academic session for existing student will commence from August.
