Noted Astrologer Bejan Daruwalla Passes Away At The Age Of 90

Saddened report had been coming in from Ahmedabad where renowned astrologer Bejan Daruwalla has passed away at the age of 90.

As per reports coming in Bejan Daruwallaaruwala as per sources has been infected bye covid-19 and was on the ventilator support in a famous Ahmedabad private hospital.

However the family had denied Bejan Daruwalla to be suffering from covid-19 and has said that he had contacted Pneumonia and was on life support.

Vijay Rupani the Chief Minister of Gujarat in his tweet has expressed his sorrow and condolences for the family of Bejan Daruwalla.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
