Punjab Cabinet Increases Fee Of Government And Private Medical Colleges Of State

According to reports coming in Punjab cabinet have decided to increase the fees of MBBS courses in the state.  this increase in the fee structure of MBBS courses will affect both private and Government colleges in the state.

According to a tweet by Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amrinder Singh this has been done to ensure better education and infrastructure facilities to the students of medicines.

This increase in fee structure will be with effect from the new academic session starting this year.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
