    Wipro Appoints Thierry Delaporte As New CEO and MD.


    Thierry Delaporte is appointed as new chief executive officer and managing director from July 6 2020 of Wipro limited, tech consulting and business process service firm.

    Before joining Wipro, Thierry Delaporte was Chief Operating Officer of Capgemini group and member of its group executive board. 

    During his 25 years career in Capgemini he held several leadership rolesand also over so keep Japanese India's operation and let the group transformation agenda, conceptualizing and driving several strategic programs across various business units. 

    Mr Delaporte will report to chairman Rishad Premji. The companies current CEO and MD Abidali Neemuchwala will relinquish his position as CEO and MD on June 1,2020
