Ram Gopal Verma Announces His Next Film On Migrant Workers

Ram Gopal Varma's has announced his new film which will be based on the corona virus pandemic. 

Now this film is also going to cover the topic of exodus of workers during lockdown.  With this film, Aashiqui fame actor Rahul Roy is returning to the big screen once again.  Rahul Roy himself announced shared this movie in his social media account.

In this film laborers pain and plight during the migration will be enacted.   Actor Rahul Roy is going to be seen in the lead role in this film.  

The name of this movie will be The Walk.  According to media reports, the journey from Mumbai to Uttar Pradesh will be shown by two characters in this film.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
