A 60 Year Old Man Commits Suicide At Quarantine Center In Pune

According to reports coming in from Pune man committed suicide at a quarantine centre in Pune.

As per reports coming in the 60 year old man had committed suicide when he was admitted to a quarantine centre along with his son after both father and son tested positive for covid.

Causes for this bizzare incident have yet to be in ascertain investigations are on and a preliminary enquiry has been set in at the centre to ascertain for the exact cause of his suicide.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
