Four Police Officials Suspended Due To Custodial Death

Reports have been coming in from Tuticorin Tamil Nadu where three police officials have been suspended because of custodial death.

The police inspector who has been suspended as sub inspector Balakrishnan, Constable Muthuraj and Murugan.

Till now total number of four police personnel have been arrested in the custodial deaths out of them three have been suspended.

Sub inspector Raghu Ganesh who have been arrested yesterday was already on suspension.

According to news coming in two people father and son were harassed and were tortured to death by these officials.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
