PM Modi Expresses Grief Over The Death Of Lalji Tandon

As per report coming in Madhya Pradesh governor Lalji Tandon has passed away after prolonged illness at the age of 85.

India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweet for Madhya Pradesh Governor Lalji Tandon has said and mentioned him as a very senior BJP leader.

He has also said that Madhya Pradesh Governor Lalji Tandon will always be remembered for his and tiring work in the politics of Uttar Pradesh.

According to PM Modi Lalji Tandon was an effective administrator who had also always given importance to public welfare work.  He was well versed with public welfare works and constitutional matters.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
