PM Modi To Lay Foundation Stone For Water Project In Manipur Through Video Conferencing

Reports have been coming in from Prime Minister's Office which has shared that Prime Minister Modi will be laying stone for Manipur water supply project through video conferencing today.

The country is facing covid-19 condition now a days and it is not possible for the Prime Minister to visit Manipur in this state.  Nowadays Prime Minister Modi have shifted all his arrangements and appointments through video conferencing.

In this Manipur water supply project the centre has provided funds for this project under Jal Jeevan Mission for fresh water household tap connections.

This project will cover 1,42,749 total household connections.  This project is an important project of the state to provide har Ghar jal by year 2024.

This project outlay is Rs 3054.58 Crore Project with loan component by the centre.

Governor of Manipur Najma Heptulla, chief Minister N. Biren Singh, his cabinet colleagues as well as all the MLA of the state are expected to join this program from Imphal.
