Smartphones To Be Distributed To 10th And 12th Girl's Students

Due to covid-19 in the country students are facing problem for their continuing education.  Many schools and colleges has started their education online and students registered under those schools and colleges are taking online classes.

But online education is only for those students who can afford a tablet, computer or a smartphone.  But students who are not coming from a well off family are not able to attend online classes.

Keeping in view of this situation Punjab government has taken historic decision to bring education given to the lowest level of the society.

Punjab government have decided to distribute 50000 smartphones to all the girls student of the state who are in their 10th and 12th classes and studying in Government schools to facilitate online learning on priority during covid-19 phase.

This was shared to the media by Punjab Chief Minister office.  These smartphones will be distributed in the coming days as government have purchased them on priority.
