Report have been coming in from SP Kanpur West in which he had said that Vikas Dubey had attempted to flee best snatching pistol from the injured policeman.
As per reports the policemen were injured when the car was overturned and Vikas Dubey try to snatch away pistol from them.
The policemen tried to make him surrender and during this Vikas Dubey fired at the policeman. Vikas Dubey was injured in the retaliating fire of the police persons. The police persons fired at him as Vikas Dubey while fleeing was firing on the police.
As per Superintendent of Police Kanpur West he was taken to hospital.
The police has stated this before the health authorities at the hospital had confirmed that Vikas Dubey is dead while being treated for his injuries.
