PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation brick for the extravagant temple that will be built. Soil from more than 2000 pilgrimage sites and water from around 100 rivers were brought in for the foundation ceremony of the temple.
President Ram Nath Kovind has also congratulated all on the inauguration of the construction of Ram Temple.
Around 175 guests were invited to the stone laying ceremony in Ayodhya. Out of them 135 were the religious leaders from various institutions.
CM Yogi has said that under the leadership of PM Modi world has seen how the toughest matters can be resolved peacefully, democratically and constitutionally.
Mohan Bhagwat also stated and remembered the sacrifices people did in the construction of Ram Janam Bhumi Mandir and they are not physically present to mark the historic event.
According to Mohan Bhagwat today is the beginning of a new era. There is a wind of happiness across the country on this auspicious occasion.
