Reports are are coming from Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs that Customs and Fields formations directed to immediately verify and confirm within 48 hours that any hazardous and explosive material lying in warehouses and ports across the country meets all safety and fire standards and present no danger to life and property.
According to the reports coming in this precautionary step has been taken in view of recent incident of an explosion in foreign country Beirut caused by such material. The recent explosion in foreign country is very disturbing as it has taken many lives and had destroyed the infrastructure very badly.
