Gym Owners In Delhi Protest Against Delhi Government

Reports have been coming in from national capital of the country New Delhi.  

As per recent reports coming in members of Indian Gyms Welfare Federation has been Staging demonstration against Delhi government.

The demonstration is to hold their protest against Delhi Government and Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal for not allowing gyms to re-open in the national capital.

When covid-19 lockdown had begun gyms were closed as a precautionary measure to stop the spread of covid-19 in the country.

And now even after so many months these gym owners are left with nothing but their shut down shops and no no source of income left in their pockets.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
