Maa Vaishno Devi Yatra In Katra To Resume From Aug 16, 2020 After 5 Months Covid-19 Restrictions

Reports have been coming in from Katra where Maa Vaishno Devi Yatra have been resumed after 5 months.

As per reports the Yatra of Maa Vaishno Devi was stopped and restrictions were laid on due to the outspread of covid-19 in the country.

In March every religious place was closed for local public to stop the spread of covid-19 in the country.  

As religious religious place like Katra Maa Vaishno Devi Shrine hundreds and thousands of people used to visit on a single day and this could spread the virus on a bigger span.

Now with the orders of administration Maa Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra will be opened for people from August 16, 2020.  The opening of Maa Vaishno Devi temple has been done after nearly five months of its closure.

The administration of Katra has said that the government is thinking for or the rules and regulations of how to allow pilgrims to the temple.

A local in Katra has said that the administration is thinking to allow only 500 pilgrims per day.  It has been stated that government should allow more people with the condition that every pilgrim should carry ab covid-19 negative certificate with them.
