Naxal Surrendered On Sister's Appeal

Reports have been coming in from Dantewada, Chhattisgarh from where a naxal had surrendered on the day of raksha Bandhan after he was a appealed by his sister to surrender before law.

As per reports Malla, a naxal  had a reward of Rs 8 Lakh his head head surrender today on the day of Raksha Bandhan.

SP of police Dantewada has said that Malla was the Deputy Chief commander.  According to Superintendent of Police he was involved in various incidences in which many police persons have lost their lives.

Malla was appealled by his sister to surrender before law on the day of Raksha Bandhan.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
