According to the reports coming and President Ram Nath Kovind said that music legend and unparalleled classical vocalist Pandit Jasraj passing away makes him sad. Spanning the distinguished career of over a decade Padma Vibhushan Pandit Jasraj enthralled people with soulful renditions. He showed his condolences to his family friends and music connoisseurs.

According to the reports coming in Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on this unfortunate dismiss of Pandit Jasraj leaves a deep void in the Indian cultural sphere. Not only were his renditions outstanding ,he also made a mark as an exceptional mentor to several other vocalist. Condolences to his family and admires worldwide.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
