    PM Remembers Dhyan Chand On Sports Day

    In a tweet by Prime Minister Modi on the occasion of National Sports Day.  PM Modi has said that on this day we pay tributes to Major Dhyan Chand, whose magic with the hockey stick can never be forgotten. 

    According to PM Modi, this is also a day to laud the outstanding support given by the families, coaches and support staff towards the success of our talented athletes.

    Today on the Sports Day President Ram Nath Kovind had also virtually conferred the National Sports and Adventure Awards 2020. 

    This award is given to the sports person for their outstanding talent and performance in a particular sport.
