Sonia Gandhi Will Remain Working As Interim Party President Until New Leadership Is Appointed

As per recent update on the confusion of party president post of Congress party is that now as per unconfirmed sources Sonia Gandhi will remain working as Congress party's interim President. 

As per reports coming in as of now it has been decided that Sonia Gandhi will remain to work as Congress Interim Party President for now.  

This decision will remain in effect until a new Chief be elected within next 6 months.

The virtual meeting of Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting has concluded after 7 hours.  

Today's meeting was full of confusion and trauma as there was a lot of dilemma over the post of Congress party President.

Yesterday around 23 congress party leaders has written a letter to CWC asking to replace Rahul Gandhi as Congress party President.  

As right now Congress party is lacking leadership and this has affected the party image in recent times.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
