Bihar Assembly Elections Approaches Widespread Poster War Seen In State

Reports have been coming in from Bihar where the onset of Bihar elections have begun.  

With the election commission deciding on the tentative dates for the elections to be held in Bihar. Widespread posters have been seen across the state by various political parties.  Posters against Chief Minister and JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar ver also seen in Patna. 

Because of covid-19 pandemic the election commission have yet to decide the Assembly elections date in Bihar state which has been previously postponed.

The state is scheduled to undergo Assembly elections, the dates for which are yet to be announced.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
