DGP Prison Of Tihar Jail Sandeep Goel Test Positive For Covid-19

A major news has been coming in from Tihar Jail where the Director General (Prisons), Tihar, Sandeep Goel has tested positive for COVID19.

This report has been shared by Tihar Jail officials, Delhi.  Right now health of director general of prison Sandeep Goel is stated to be stable.  All those who have come in contact with him have been self isolating.  

Widespread testing on those who have been in a direct contact with him have been done by the government authorities.  

Covid has been widely spreading in the national capital of the country Delhi as well as from the economic capital Mumbai where most of the people and higher officials have been testing positive for the disease.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
