External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar To Meet Chinese State Councilor In Moscow Today

Reports have been coming in from Moscow Russia where SCO meet has been going on between various ministers of various countries.

And in this line today External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar will be meet Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi at 6PM today in Moscow, Russia on the sidelines of SCO meet.

It is expected that at this meeting both the leaders mein discuss that tensions which has been going on around line of actual control between India and China.  

It is also expected that both the countries will be exchanging their views on the present situation and how to deal with it peacefully.

Today's meeting between both the leaders has been looked upon as very important regarding the relations between both the countries.

The relations between both the countries have been tensed from the period when China had advanced its troops and had crossed the line of actual control in Ladakh.  

There have been regular tensions going on after that between Indian and Chinese Troops in Ladakh region.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
