International Flights Banned For Another One Month Till September 30

Reports have been coming in from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

As per reports coming in the Civil Aviation Ministry has extended the ban on scheduled international commercial flights by a month to September 30 from the current date of August 31.

International flights have been banned from the starting of the lockdown period.  And only Vande Bharat flights are plying with only limited number of passengers.  

Now the extension of the ban means that scheduled international passenger flights will have remained suspended for a period of over six months since March 23.

The Civil Aviation Ministry had stopped the flights for the first time to contain the transmission of the novel coronavirus that has caused the Covid-19 pandemic.
