Partial Phase Of Delhi Metro Resumed From Today

Reports have been coming in from the national Capital Of the country New Delhi where Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) resumed its services on Blue Line and Pink Line from today.

Metro trains will run from 7 am to 11 am in the morning and 4 pm to 8 pm in the evening on both the lines, says DMRC. 

The Delhi Metro has now been opening in the unlock 4.0 phase.  Yesterday the Delhi Metro lines were partially open for few hours.

And now today a partial reopening of line have been done in many parts of the city.

Delhi Metro was closed due to the outspread of covid-19 pandemic in the country.  And the central government in its series of action plan to stop the rise in the covid-19 cases have implemented lockdown in the entire country.

In this lockdown Railways including Delhi Metro, offices and city transport everything was closed.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
