Phase 1 Of Delhi Metros To Start From September 07

Reports have been coming in from New Delhi the national capital of the country where in unlock 4.0 the government has decided to start Metros in the capital.

As per Delhi metro rail Corporation (DMRC) in phase 1, on 7th Sept, we are planning to start Yellow Line from Samaypur Badli to Huda City Centre. 

In phase 2, on 9th Sept we will start three more lines, Blue Line, Pink Line & Gurgaon Line.

Initially as per DMRC only one line will be opened and operating hours will be 7am to 11am and 1600 hours to 2000 hours.

Only selected gates at the metro stations will be open for entry. A separate gate will be marked for exit only. Only use of Smart Card and cashless/online transactions will be allowed: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Chief

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
