Prime Minister's Of India And Sri Lanka Meet On Virtual Platform

Reports have been in from a video conferencing meeting between India Prime Minister and Sri Lankan Prime Minister.  

This meeting is a virtual meeting as was held through video conferencing.  In this meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said to Sri Lankan Prime Minister that I thank you (Sri Lankan PM Mahinda Rajapaksa) for accepting my invitation for this virtual Bilateral Summit between India and Sri Lanka. 

I also congratulate you for being elected as Prime Minister and victory of your party in Parliamentary elections: PM Narendra Modi 

As per reports Indian Prime Minister has said that the relations between India and Sri Lanka are thousands of years old. 

According to the India's policy of bilateral friendly  terms.  The Indian government's neighbourhood first policy and SAGAR doctrine the Indian Government has given special priority to relations between the two countries.
