412 KG Of Ganja Seized In Pune

Reports have been coming in from Maharashtra where the police has seized illegal Ganja.

As per reports Pune Customs seized 412 kgs of ganja on Naldurg-Solapur road on 4th October. 

The 206 plastic packets of ganja were concealed in a special cavity on the roof of a truck. The total value of the seizure is approximately Rs 85 lakhs 

Police has been carrying on the investigation on full swing as to who all have been involved in the smuggling.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
