Ghaziabad Schools Reopen Under Covid Norms

Reports have been coming in from Ghaziabad where in a major decision of Unlock the Schools, except those in containment zones have been reopened for students.

As per reports school reopening decision will reopen for students of Class 9th-12th, following COVID19 norms

A written consent and an authority letter would be taken by the parents who want to send their wards to school.  And only those students, whose parents gave written consent, were permitted entry.  The school administration aren't allowed more than 20 students in a class.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
