India And Australian Foreign Minister Exchanged Bilateral Talks

Reports have been coming in from the meeting of India's External Affairs Minister Jaishankar and Australian foreign minister Marise Payne.

Australian Foreign Minister after the meeting has said that Warm meeting with my good friend was fruitful.  

The Minister has further added that in the meeting I and Indian counterpart has reviewed progress in bilateral ties after virtual summit between both our Prime Ministers.

External Affairs Ministers of both the countries has discussed on expanding cooperation in global affairs&regional issues.

And bothe the countries will work together more closely in multilateral forumm

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
