Kolkata STF Recovered Huge Quantity Of Weapon

Recent reports coming in from West Bengal where Kolkata police in a major haul has seized illegal arms.

As per reports Special Task Force (STF) has seized 8 pieces of steel coloured improvised country made firearms from 2 notorious illegal firearms dealers at Strand Road. 

The accused persons have been arrested and will be produced in court today for seeking their police custody.

Investigations are in full swing as to locate and identify more persons who have been involved in this racket.  Police are also verifying other details to ascertain more persons involved in the racket.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
