Mahendra Singh Dhoni who is best known for his strong captaincy and excellent batting form. But this time Dhoni is in discussion for something else.   This is the reason why Dhoni's focus has shifted away from cricket to entertainment field.

 Actually, Captain Cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who is mostly busy in his personal life, is now going to step into the entertainment field.

Dhoni and his wife Sakshi has launched their own banner Dhoni Entertainment in the year 2019 with the documentary 'The Roar of the Lion'. 

At the same time, Dhoni and Sakshi are bringing a web series, which is an adaptation of an unpublished book written by an upcoming writer. Now after the announcement by the witness that Dhoni's fans have become much more excited for this web series.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
