One Person Killed In Firing In Ballia Uttar Pradesh

According to reports coming in from Uttar Pradesh one person dead after bullets were fired during a meeting called for allotment of shops under govt quota, in Ballia. 

Devendra Nath, SP Ballia, says, "The incident took place after a clash erupted between two groups during the meeting. Investigation is on." 

The incident is very upsetting, it should not have taken place but I condemn the one-sided investigation of administration. 

According to Surendra Singh, Ballia BJP MLA,  nobody is looking at the pain of six women who have been injured in the incident. Dhirendra Singh fired in self-defence.

If he wouldn't have fired then dozens of his relatives would've been killed. Wrongdoers should be punished under law. 

What happened shouldn't have happened but police should also act against other group which attacked women with sticks, iron rods.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
