Prime Minister Narendra Modi To Release Rs 100 Coin Celebrating Birth Centenary Of Vijayraje Scindia

A very historical event is yet to happen as tomorrow Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be releasing rupees 100 coin.

As per reports coming in Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release a commemorative coin of Rs 100.  According to reports this coin will be released in honour of Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia, tomorrow through a virtual ceremony. 

The Ministry of Finance has reiterated that this special coin minted by the Ministry is released to celebrate the birth centenary of Rajmata.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
