Rhea Chakraborty Gets Bail On Conditions By High Court But Her Brother Bail Gets Rejected

Latest reports coming in from Maharashtra High Court where in a major decision has come up in the Sushant Singh Rajput Case.

As per reports Bombay High Court has granted bail to Rhea Chakraborty but has rejected bail plea of her brother Showik Chakraborty.

Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) had arrested them in connection with drugs case related to Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

Rhea Chakraborty gets her bail on personal bond of Rs 1 lakh.

Court has said that "Rhea should mark her presence for 10 days in police station after release, deposit her passport, not travel abroad without court permission and inform investigating officer if she has to leave Greater Mumbai"

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
