West Bengal Chief Minister Writes A Letter To Telangana Chief Minister To Review The Situation

Reports have been coming in from where West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has written to Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao.

As per reports coming in West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has written a letter to Telangana chief minister for contributing a "token sum" of Rs 2 Crores to Telangana CM's Relief Fund "as a mark of solidarity & brotherhood with people of Telangana."

This letter has been written with the view that most of the parts of Telangana are reeling under flood due to heavy rainfall.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao spoke with West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee over phone today and thanked her for the financial assistance of Rs 2 Crores.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
