    Cyclone Nivar Intensifies Further Will Make A Landfall In Southern India At 23:30 IST Today

    Reports have been coming in from southern India where Cyclone Nivar has intensified further into Severe Cyclonic Storm.

    As per reports coming in Cyclone Nivar is expected to make a landfall in the Southern parts of India at around 23:30 hrs IST of 24th November over southwest Bay of Bengal. 

    Indian Meteorological Department has stated that Cyclone Nivar is about 310 km of Cuddalore and is very likely to intensify further into a very severe cyclonic storm during next 12 hrs.

    The Severe Cyclonic Storm Nivar over southwest Bay of Bengal has moved west-northwestwards with a speed of 6 kmph during past six hours.

    The sea is seen very rough in Puducherry as severe cyclonic storm NIVAR to cross Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts between Karaikal and Mamallapuram tonight.  Heavy rains is lashing Kanchipuram
