Farmers Gather In Large Numbers In Burari To Protest Against Farm Bill

As per reports all the protesting farmers are gathered in Delhi Haryana borders as Indian government has allotted them a place in Burari for protest where protesting farmers are gathered.

The Delhi Police yesterday have given permission to farmers to hold their demonstrations at the Nirankari Samagam Ground in Delhi's Burari area.

Protesting farmers are gathering at the approved protest site Nirankari Samagam Ground in Burari to protest against the government policies.

A farmer says, "Our protest will continue till the Farm laws are not withdrawn. We are here for the long haul."

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
