Indian Reserve Police (IRP) 19th Battalion Dedicates Computer Lab

Reports have been coming in from Jammu and Kashmir where Indian Reserve Police (IRP) 19th Battalion had dedicated a computer lab.

As per reports coming in the Indian reserve Police 19 battalion has dedicated this computer lab to a government middle school in Chak Darab Khan of Kathua district yesterday, under the Force's civic action programme. 

Danish Rana, IGP IRP Jammu in his statement to ANI we have established an IT lab here and given some computers to children. 

According to IGP, if children are computer trained from the beginning, they can make a career in IT sector. This is a small gesture from us, we hope the children will use them and make progress.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
