Slow Counting Of Votes Was Because Of Covid-19 Norms: Election Commission

As reported earlier there have been reports that the counting in the V har assembly elections was relatively very slow.

Sunil Arora, Chief Election Commissioner, on a question of allegations of 'slow counting'has clarified that this happened because of the norms of Covid-19 which were followed while counting of votes. 

According to Chief Election Commisioner to ensure social distancing, there were 7 people on a counting desk this time as compared to the normal number of 14 with an additional 33,000 polling booths.
