As per reports coming in from Karnataka where a Bandh call has been given by Pro-Kannada organisations today against state govt's decision to form Maratha Development Authority.
With the view of today's bandh in Karnataka metro stations are wearing a deserted look in Bengaluru. The metro station of Balagangadharanatha Swamiji and Magadi Road metro stations have been practically closed.
Pro-Kannada groups have called for a bandh today against the formation of Maratha Development Authority.
As a precautionary measure by the Bengaluru police more than one hundred history-sheeters have been detained ahead of Karnataka bandh as reported by DCP (West), Bengaluru.
