Cyclothon Organised At An Altitude Of 11,500 Feet Above Sea Level

Reports have been coming in from Indo-Tibetan border in Leh area where a cyclothon was organised by Indo-Tibetan Border Police.


As per reports coming in this cyclothon was organised by Indian Tibetan Border Police and in Leh at 11,500 feet under 'Fit India Campaign', today. 

This cyclothon was flagged by Jamyang T Namgyal, Lok Sabha MP. The purpose of the event is to keep jawans fit in the areas where temperature is less than -20 degrees as per ITBP.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
