Farmer's Protest Enters 17th Day Today

Reports have been coming in from the national capital of the country New Delhiwhere farmer protest has still been going on and now it has entered into the 17th day today.

While no decision has come up between the talks between Central Government and the farmers, farmers' protest at Ghazipur (Delhi-UP border) enters day 17.

As per confirm sources coming up from the farmers protest It is reported that the protesters will be observing fast today.

A protester from Lakhimpur Kheri talking to ANI says that, "When we take our sugarcane trolleys to mills, it happens that we skip meals for 24 hours. We are prepared for fast."

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
