National Investigation Agency Files Chargesheet Against 10 People In Punjab

Latest reports are coming in from National Investigation Agency (NIA) which has chargesheeted 10 people for the case related to to violence in Punjab in 2017-18.

As per reports coming in National investigation agency NIA has filed chargesheet against 10 accused people including designated terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun before the NIA Special Court, Mohali in Sikhs for Justice Case.

This filing of chargesheet against these 10 people were related to the case relates to series of acts of violence including acts of arson in Punjab during 2017-18.

As written in the chargesheet a propaganda activities was carried out both online and on ground campaigns in support of SFJ and Referendum- 2020.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
