This night curfew has been imposed with the view of the ongoing new string of covid-19 which was found in United Kingdom and as Christmas and New year is approaching it was expected that Maharashtra would see a large number of people gathered on the road on these occasions.
To stop the people from gathering Maharashtra government took the decision to impose night Curfew in the state.
As per reports Police conducted checks at various locations in Mumbai as night curfew between 11 pm to 6 am is imposed in all municipal corporations in the state from December 22, 2020 to January 5, 2021.
