30 New Cases Arrested And 92 People In Drug Peddling Cases By NCB

Reports have been coming in from the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) which has stated the data of the cases which it did against drug racketeers in Mumbai and Goa.

As per reports the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the last 3 months, has lodged 30 new cases arresting 92 people in drug peddling cases.

Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of the Narcotics Control Bureau, Mumbai has siad that NCB is tightening the noose around drug racketeers in Mumbai and Goa.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
