A Big Houl Of Drugs Worth 25 Lakhs Seized In Bengaluru, Karnataka: Two Drug Peddlers Arrested

Latest reports have been coming in from Central Crime Branch Bengaluru Karnataka which has in a a joint operation with Crime Branch had arrested two drug peddlers.

As per reports coming in Central Crime Branch (CCB) has arrested two drug peddlers in Yelahanka.  The Crime Branch has seized 500 gms of MDMA worth about Rs 25 lakhs.

The drug peddlers three mobile phones including other things have also been seized. 

The two drug peddlers arrested included a Nigerian drug peddler as per statement given by Sandeep Patil, Joint CP, Crime, Bengaluru in Karnataka.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
