Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi Says Their Party Will Restructure GST If They Come To Power

Reports have been coming in from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu where Congress leader has said that it is the commitment of the UPA govt that when we come to power, we will restructure the GST.

As per reports Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, said this while he was addressing a gathering of MSME representatives.

Rahul Gandhi further adds that ruling party believes that for sake of efficiency of growth, diverse factors need to be homogenised. 

We don't believe in that. We believe that if Tamil Nadu is India then India is Tamil Nadu too. 

I respect Tamil language & maybe will learn it. In the end Rahul Gandhi said Vannakam!

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
