Covid Cases Lowers In The Past 24 Hours Giving A Sight Of Relief To Health Ministry

Reports have been coming in from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which has reported the latest data on Covid 19 cases in the country.

As per reports coming in India has reported a total number of 16,375 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.  

However due to immediate mediacal help 29,091 recoveries have been made and 201 deaths in last 24 hours as per Union Health Ministry.

Till now the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country reported from the onset is 1,03,56,845.

With total number of active cases figures at 2,31,036.  The total number of recoveries stand at 99,75,958 in the country so far.

Death toll with this disease from the onset till date stands at 1,49,850.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
